Recently, Prabhas’ ‘Adipurush’ courted controversy when Saif Ali Khan said that Ravana’s character in the movie will be humanized. Weeks after many were outraged by Saif’s comments, the film’s dialogue writer Manoj Muntashir has chipped in with his views.
Speaking to a daily, the writer said that the Bollywood actor’s comments were misunderstood by some. He suggested that Saif will be playing a flamboyant Ravana in the epic 3D action flick based on the Ramayana. The writer added that the ‘Tanhaji’ actor is a thinking actor.
It’s now becoming clear that Ravana will not be portrayed as a typical demon, the way he has been shown in most of the Telugu movies of yore. Director Om Raut seems to have got a distinct vision.
Prabhas will start shooting for the film sooner than later. To be released on 11 August 2022, ‘Adipurush’ will be a multi-lingual mythological.
