Poonam Bajwa has acted in only a few films in Tamil cinema but gained a lot of fans and followers in Kollywood. She started her career as a model and made her cinema debut in 2005 with the Telugu film Modati Cinema. Then, the actress appeared in multiple Malayalam, Telugu, Tamil and Kannada films.
In Kollywood, Poonam Bajwa debuted in Tamil in 2008 with the Hari-directed masala film ‘Seval’ and subsequently starred in ‘Thenavattu’ and ‘Kacheri Arambam’, both co-starring Jiiva. She acted in successful Tamil movies like ‘Drohi’, ‘Thambikottai’, ‘Muthina Kathirikkai’, ‘Aranmanai 2’ and ‘Romeo Juliet’.
