‘Ponniyin Selvan’ stars, cast and crew bid emotional farewell to each other! – Watch here

We all know that Mani Ratnam made his magnum opus ‘Ponniyin Selvan’ with top stars from various industries including Chiyaan Vikram, Karthi, Jayam Ravi, Trisha, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Aishwarya Lekshmi, Jayaram, Sobhitha Dhulipala and others. Now, the actors have bid an emotional farewell to each other.

The second part of the epic historical fantasy film is all set to storm the silver screens tomorrow. The expectations for the sequel soared high after the skyrocketing success of ‘PS-1’. Also, the franchise adapted from author Kalki’s 5-part novel is coming to an end with Ponniyin Selvan 2. The entire cast and crew have been travelling together for the promotions of the movies.

The stars won’t be able to spend time together post the PS-2 release and they got emotional about the same in the promotional event earlier and the particular video is now trending on social media. The actors seem to have developed a close friendship and strong bond on the sets and while travelling together. They broke out in tears on the stage.

It’s not the first time we have seen a ‘Ponniyin Selvan’ star turning emotional. Recently Jayam Ravi too broke out in tears a few days back while speaking about the support from his mates and fans. PS-2 directed by Mani Ratnam, has music by AR Rahman and DOP by Ravi Varman. The film will debut on big screens tomorrow in five languages in IMAX and 4DX.
