Aishwarya Lekshmi is a popular south actress. She gained huge acclaim for her role in Mani Ratnam’s Ponniyin Selvan as Poonguzhali, the daughter of the ocean. Last night, she delivered a warming speech at the Ponniyin Selvan 2 audio and trailer launch.
Aishwarya Lekshmi said, “I would like to express my gratitude to Mani Ratnam sir and Lyca Productions for offering me the impactful character Poonguzhali in Ponniyin Selvan. Many people said that ‘Ponniyin Selvan’ cannot be made as a pan India film because there is a nativity in the story.”
“But director Mani Ratnam has made this film in a way that all people can experience and enjoy it. That is Mani Ratnam sir. He has given a visual experience that brought the characters of this film to life fulfilling all the expectations of the fans,” added the actress. PS-2 is preparing for a lavish silver screen release all over the world on April 28.
