Director Mohan G, known for his films ‘Draupathi’, and ‘Bakasuran’, has sparked a major controversy with his recent remarks about Palani Panchamirtham. In a recent interview, the filmmaker allegedly claimed that contraceptive drugs were being mixed into the sacred offering, which has led to outrage among the public.
Following this, a formal complaint was lodged at the Palani police station. Under the orders of Trichy SP Varun Kumar, police arrested Mohan G at his residence in Kasimedu, Chennai. The director was brought in for questioning earlier today, and after the inquiry, he was officially placed under arrest.
Mohan G is expected to be transferred to Trichy for further investigation. His comments have stirred significant debate, and his arrest has become a trending topic in media circles. On the work front, Mohan was preparing for his next film in which he is set to reunite with actor Richard Rishi for the third time.
