How Pia Bajpai went bald for new movie

Stars from time to time startle us by the amount of hard work and sincerity they put into their art. Many have taken the arduous road of body and mental transformations for demanding roles, all for the sake of audience satisfaction. The latest to impress us this way is actress Pia Bajpai.

‘Abhiyum Anuvum’ is an upcoming film for Pia in which she co-stars with Tovino Thomas and is directed by BR Vijayalakshmi. The surprising update is that Pia has gone the extra mile for the role by going bald for the movie. The actress recently has stated that sporting the look was very demanding and cumbersome, given the usage of sprays, glues etc to keep the wig intact.

She also expressed she was ready to actually shave her head, but decided against it following the suggestion from the director as the look was only needed three/four days.  It is also worth noting here that the actress spent more hours to get ready pre and post shoot which only goes to prove her grit and dedication to her role.

The bilingual film is bankrolled by Yoodlee Films and set to hit the screens coming March 9.
