‘Peddi’ Glimpse: Ram Charan’s Power-Packed Avatar Dominates National Trends

A birthday special from Ram Charan has turned into a nationwide talking point, as the makers of Peddi unveiled a striking glimpse that instantly caught fire online. Accompanied by a series of intense posters, the reveal showcased Charan in a completely transformed pahelwan-inspired avatar, driving the film’s hype to a new peak. The glimpse has not only drawn massive viewership but also secured the No.1 trending spot across India.

At the core of the buzz is Charan’s physical transformation, which leans heavily into raw strength and functional power. His rugged build—marked by broad shoulders, heavily worked arms, and a solid, grounded frame—reflects the discipline of a traditional wrestler rather than a stylized cinematic physique. The emphasis is clearly on realism, strength, and presence.

The visuals further elevate this transformation. Set against a wrestling backdrop, Charan’s movements carry weight and intensity, whether he’s charging forward or standing firm with a gada in hand. There’s a distinct mythological undertone, with the character echoing the energy and ferocity often associated with Lord Hanuman. Every frame—filled with dust, strain, and focus—adds to the larger-than-life presentation.

More than just a visual shift, Peddi positions itself as a high-energy, mass-driven spectacle. The glimpse hints at a film designed for scale, elevation, and theatrical impact, signaling a powerful big-screen experience.

Directed by Buchi Babu Sana, the film is being produced by Venkata Satish Kilaru under Vriddhi Cinemas, with presentation by Mythri Movie Makers in association with Sukumar Writings. The film is slated for release on April 30.
