Pawan Kalyan is all set to release the first list of Jana Sena candidates (both MLA and MP) either on Monday or Tuesday. After much cogitation over the applications received, the party’s Screening Committee had handed over its list to the General Body. On Sunday, a meeting was held under the aegis of Pawan to decide on who all should be given the tickets.
The elections are due to be held in Andhra Pradesh on April 11 (much like in Telangana). Unprepared political parties are running out of time, with just a month away for the D-Day. In these circumstances, there are rumours that Pawan may not have JS contest all the 175 Assembly segments in the State. He doesn’t want the party to spread itself too thin, reports say.
Meanwhile, elaborate arrangements are on to hold a grand formation day of Jana Sena on March 14. It will be held in Rajahmundry on the banks of River Godavari. Two more events will be held in Vizag and Vijayawada later.
