‘Iravin Nizhal’ controversy: Fans burn Blue Sattai Maaran’s puppet and he reacts!

R Parthiban’s Iravin Nizhal has been called the world’s first non-linear single-shot film for a long time now. But famous Tamil Youtuber, film critic and director Blue Sattai Maaran stated in his review that Iravin Nizhal is not the world’s first non-linear single-shot film but an Iranian movie named ‘Fish & Cat’ is. 

Blue Sattai Maaran’s statement caused a great stir among Tamil cinema fans and even the film’s director Parthiban conversed about this with him through social media and also asked the latter why he hasn’t brought up the allegations before the release, as he has been promoting ‘Iravin Nizhal’ as the world’s first single-shot non-linear film for a long time. 

The latest is that a few fans of the ‘Iravin Nizhal’ movie from Pondicherry got triggered by the comments made by the Youtuber and burned Blue Sattai Maaran’s puppet. Blue Sattai Maaran took to his social media to share the pictures of the incident and wrote, “Thanks for the innovative compliment, Parthiban sir. Keep up the good work.”
