Mani Ratnam’s ‘Ponniyin Selvan’ hot update- Another major star confirms signing

Mani Ratnam’s ‘Ponniyin Selvan’ produced at a mega budget of 600 crores by Lyca Productions is fast turning out to be the biggest multistarrer ever in Indian cinema.  Already Vikram and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan have confirmed their participation in the film in pivotal roles.  The other big names attached to the project include Amitabh Bachchan, Karthi, Jayam Ravi,  Anushka Shetty, Nayanthara and Keerthy Suresh.

This morning veteran actor-director Parthiban has confirmed that he is on board by posting a photograph with Mani Ratnam.  In his unique signature style he has captained it “The photograph is self explanatory and am in ecstasy over my participation with Mani Rathnam’s ‘Ponniyin Selvan’… Until now I have only learnt spellings for the film but now am also learning swimming for my role”.  The official announcement on this giant of a film is expected pretty soon.
