Manirathnam’s AD is hero and heroine becomes AD

Director Manirathnam is all set to begin his next film rumored to be titled ‘Kaatru Veliyidai’ on the 8th of this month with a song and important scenes to be shot in Ooty and other parts of the Nilgiris. The film has Karthi and Aditi Rao Hydari as the lead pair with R.J. Balaji playing a pivotal role.

Actor-Director Parthiban’s daughter Keerthana is working as an assistant director in the film and the interesting fact is that as a child artist, she was the heroine (central character) of Manirathnam’s ‘Kannathil Muthamittaal’. Similarly Karthi assisted Mani in ‘Ayudha Ezhuthu’. The film has the ARR-Vairamuthu combo on board with Ravi Varman cranking the camera.
