Pa.Ranjith – Arya’s Sarpatta Parambarai trailer released!!

Pa.Ranjith is a revolutionary filmmaker who smashed many stereotypes in Tamil Cinema. Plenty of other directors from Kollywood stated that Ranjith has started a new movement in Tamil Film Industry.

Ranjith directed Thalaivar Rajinikanth in Kabali and Kaala. After giving two blockbusters for Superstar, Ranjith is directing actor Arya for the first time in Sarpatta Parambarai. Initially, the director approached Surya for this film but he could not do this due to other commitments.

Sarpatta Parambarai is a period sports drama, set in the 1970s to 80s which revolves around the boxing culture in North Chennai. The movie team dropped the trailer today. The visuals present the vintage day North Madras to our eyes. Pasupathy as Rangan Vaathiyar explains the boxing culture in Madras since British India and about the vengeful boxing clans of North Madras.

The stunts were so realistic and the boxing sequences were breathtaking. Arya is stunning as Kabilan. The actor has put a lot of effort to bring Kablian before our eyes. The cinematography and art work was astonishing.

Santhosh Narayanan has scored the music of the film. The English rap song which comes at the end of the trailer elevates the scenes to a whole new level. Fans are eagerly waiting to listen to the full soundtrack.

The signature of Ranjith’s films, a Buddha statue can be seen in one of the frames. The trailer has boosted the expectations among the fans. Sarpatta Parambai is all set to premiere on July 22 on Amazon Prime Video.
