‘Parandhu Po’ Selected for Prestigious Rotterdam Film Festival

The film “Parandhu Po” directed by Ram, featuring Mirchi Shiva, has been officially selected for the prestigious Rotterdam International Film Festival. This movie includes performances by Mirchi Shiva, Grace Antony, and Aju Varghese, among others, and is set in a comedic narrative. Directed by Ram, the film is produced by Seven Seas and Seven Hills productions and is distributed in collaboration with Disney+ Hotstar.

The film features background music by Yuvan Shankar Raja and songs composed by Santhosh Dayanidhi. N.K. Ekambaram has handled the cinematography. The crew had earlier applied for the film to be showcased at international festivals. The announcement about its selection for the Rotterdam International Film Festival has brought delight to the filmmakers.

Director Ram shared his joy by saying, “After the success of ‘Peranbu’ and ‘Ezhu Kadal Ezhu Malai,’ I feel thrilled that ‘Parandhu Po’ (Fly Away) is premiering at the Rotterdam Film Festival. It will be screened in the Limelight category of the festival. Both Shiva and I will be participating in the event on February 4.”
