‘Panchatantram’ leaves Srividya Maharshi’s family emotional

‘Panchatantram’ was out in theatres on Friday. Directed by Harsha Pulipaka and produced by Akhilesh Vardhan, the anthology-like film tells a sincere set of five honest stories where the writing, the performances, and the technical aspects come together to give a slice-of-life drama.

Srividya Maharshi of ‘Color Photo’ fame is seen in the first story in the role of a young corporate employee. She shares screen space with Naresh Agastya in the film. The actress, who is known for the Girl Formula capsule on YouTube, posted a clip of her family members getting emotional upon watching the movie. “Happy tears,” she posted. 

Also a dubbing artist, Srividya has done sensible roles in a number of short films.

As for ‘Panchatantram’, the film also features another Girl Formula actress – Divya Sripada of ‘Yashoda’ fame. Brahmanandam, Swathi Reddy, Uttej, Rahul Vijay, Samuthirakani and several others have key roles.
