Bollywood star Akshay Kumar's 'Pad Man ' has become the talk of the town with its socially relevant subject matter. Akshay Kumar as a way of promotion had asked his fellow stars to post a picture of themselves with a sanitary pad with the caption 'Nothing shame, PERIOD'.

Many celebrities including our own G.V.Prakash took this challenge, becoming the first Kollywood celebration to do so. Following suit Suja Varunee of Bigg Boss fame has also shared a bold statement in her social page. 'Periods are no big deal! Its all natural and there is nothing to be ashamed of,' she stated.

Moreover Suja also wished the best for 'Pad Man' to make a successful outing at the box office. She had also nominated TV stars Ramya, VJ Anjana and Dhivyadharshini for the challenge.

Kudos to Suja for making a bold statement that goes on to say periods are not a taboo, which is also one of the messages of 'Pad Man'.
