Hero and heroine of Pa Ranjith’s next after blockbuster hit ‘Sarpatta Parambarai’ revealed

Director Pa. Ranjith has hit the bulls eye once again with his new movie ‘Sarpatta Parambarai’ that is streaming on Amazon Prime Video.  The period boxing drama dealing with the sports in North Madras during the 1970s has stellar performances from Arya, Dushara Vijayan, Pasupathy, Shabeer Kallarakkal, Santhosh Prathap, John Kokken, John Vijay, Anupama Kumar, Sanchana Natarajan and Kalaiarasan.

We already broke the news earlier that Ranjith is all set to direct a romance titled ‘Natchathiram Nagargiradhu’ which will go on floors soon.  It is said that the ace filmmaker has roped in Kalidas Jayaram and Dushara Vijayan to play the lead roles.

Kalidas Jayaram turned in a riveting performance in the episode ‘Thangam’ from the Netflix anthology ‘Paava Kathailgal’ directed by Sudha Kongara.  He played a transgender to perfection and won hearts.  He is also said to be playing Kamal Haasan’s son in ‘Vikram’ directed by Lokesh Kangaraj and costarring Vijay Sethupathi and Fahaadh Faasil.

Dushara Vijayan meanwhile is hot in Kollywood after her dominating performance as Mariamma in ‘Sarpatta Parambarai’.  She is set to shine once again in Pa. Ranjith’s ‘Natchathiram Nagargiradhu’.  The rest of the cast and crew details of the film will be revealed soon.
