Pa Ranjith previously announced a new film titled 'Vettuvam' at the Cannes International Film Festival in 2022. This is said to be his next film.

We previously reported that Pa Ranjith has reunited with 'Attakathi' Dinesh for this upcoming project. According to the latest updates, Arya has been cast in the role of a powerful villain in 'Vettuvam.' This collaboration marks another exciting partnership between Pa Ranjith and Arya, who previously worked together on the blockbuster 'Sarpatta Parambarai.' They are also set to collaborate on the upcoming 'Sarpatta 2.'

Sources reveal that Pa Ranjith plans to complete 'Vettuvam' before moving on to 'Sarpatta 2.' The plot of 'Vettuvam' centres around a rural gangster set against a prison backdrop. The shooting is scheduled to last around 45 days and is expected to begin before the release of 'Thangalaan.'
