Bigg Boss Tamil fame Oviya had a chat session with her fans on social media last night and her response to a certain question about the activities of Modi government left the users in splits.
Oviya responded to the question with a popular meme containing a dialogue of hers which went viral during her stint on the first season of Bigg Boss. “Enna panrathu sir.. ellam sirippa irukku,” the template said. Earlier this year, Oviya had posted a tweet with the hashtag #GoBackModi while Modi visited Chennai to launch developmental projects. The Tamil Nadu unit of BJP registered a police complaint against Oviya soon after for allegedly disrespecting the PM during his visit to the state.
Alexis Sudhakar, a lawyer and member of BJP legal wing, sought an enquiry against the tweet. “Following her tweets, large number of public in Tamil Nadu including some petty political parties indulged in activities that lead to distortion of public peace and order in and around Chennai and I along with my friends and relations were victimised,” his complaint read.
