With the Coronavirus pandemic lockdown causing troubles to shooting of movies as well as the reopening of theatres all over the world, many movies have opted for direct release on OTT platforms rather than waiting for theatres to open.

In Bollywood, the Ayushmann Khurrana, Amitabh Bachchan starrer Gulabo Sitabo was released on Amazon prime, and movies like Shakuntala Devi, Dil Bechara, Laxmmi Bomb, Bhuj the Pride of India, Sadak 2 are getting ready for a OTT release between July and October.

Now, actress Shruti Haasan's long delayed Hindi movie is set to have it's direct OTT release. Yaara, directed by Tigmanshu Dhulia and co-starring Thuppakki villain Vidyut Jammwal as the lead, which had been in the making for long is now set to release on ZEE5 OTT platform on July 25.
