Otherwise, they won’t remain my fans: Ram Charan

Speaking to a national daily, Ram Charan has said that "hero-worship" shouldn't come in the way of the screenplay.  He has been quoted as saying that, if not, his fans won't remain his fans for long.

As someone who hails from an industry known for placing a huge premium on the heroes, especially superstars, Cherry suggesting that too much of hero orientation is too bad is most welcome.

After doing films like 'Bruce Lee', the Mega actor is surely conscious of the pitfalls of hero-obsession in Tollywood.  Even star writers/directors get carried away while working with big stars.

Note that even though 'Dhruva' is largely content-based, it's Ram Charan's character which asks Rakul's character to do a forensic study of the finger prints in a scene.  In the Tamil original, it's the alert heroine who gets that idea, which is proper because a forensic professional is likely to be more alert than an IPS officer whose antagonist has already started getting on his nerves.
