‘O Maara’ from Thug Life Unleashed: A Power-Packed Musical Explosion

The hype around Kamal Haasan, Simbu, and Mani Ratnam’s much-awaited gangster saga Thug Life continues to soar. With the trailer creating a massive buzz and the first two songs dominating music charts, the makers have now dropped the third single — the fiery and infectious “O Maara” — ramping up excitement ahead of the film’s release.

Composed by the maestro A.R. Rahman, O Maara is a sonic rollercoaster. It begins on a smooth, almost hypnotic note before erupting into an electrifying blend of beats that echo the fearless swagger of Simbu’s gangster character. The track mirrors the mood of the film — intense, edgy, and full of rebellion.

Adithya RK delivers a powerful vocal performance, hitting high notes with precision, while Rakendu Mouli storms in with a blazing rap verse that injects the song with street-style grit and raw energy. Their chemistry is electric, making O Maara a standout in the album. Produced jointly by Raaj Kamal Films International, Madras Talkies, and Red Giant Movies, Thug Life is set for a grand theatrical release on June 5th, with distribution in Telugu states by N Sudhakar Reddy of Sreshth Movies.
