YVS Chowdary has penned a rich tribute to the legendary NT Rama Rao. In an open letter, the director-writer-producer says that he regards the late thespian-turned-statesman as a divine entity. "I entered the film industry due to the influence of his magnetic personality. That's why all my films pay homage to his portrait at the beginning of the titles (the bhajan-like song is rendered by MM Keeravani)," he says.
"NTR garu taught us how to work with dedication. His life teaches us that we should do it lovingly how much ever difficult it may be," Chowdary writes.
He further says, "NTR garu is the inspiration for many, irrespective of their caste, religion, region and profession. His ambitions and speeches fired us with enthusiasm."
"NTR garu was the symbol of Hindu traditions through the roles he played on the celluloid. He brought to life the characters from Mahabharatam, Bhagavatam and Ramayana," YVS pens.
