The audio launch event for Suriya’s upcoming film Retro created quite a buzz recently. During the event, veteran actor Sivakumar proudly declared, “My son Suriya was the first actor in Tamil cinema to sport a six-pack.”

However, actor Vishal later shared a different perspective in an interview, saying, “From what I know, Dhanush was the first to achieve a six-pack for his film Polladhavan. I only built mine after that.” Many interpreted Vishal’s comments as a subtle contradiction to Sivakumar’s statement.

Adding a new twist to the discussion, Tamil actress Uma Riyaz Khan took to social media to share a throwback photo of her husband, actor Riyaz Khan, flaunting his six-pack abs. Through her post, she indirectly hinted that it was neither Suriya nor Dhanush, but Riyaz Khan who was actually the first Tamil actor to achieve a six-pack physique.

Fans quickly pointed out that Riyaz Khan had showcased his toned body in the film Winner, directed by Sundar C, much before six-packs became a trend in Tamil cinema.
