Nivetha Thomas opens up on ‘V’

‘V’ is all set to stream on an OTT platform from September 5. And, in the meantime, Nivetha Thomas and others associated with the movie are busy promoting it.

In her latest interview, Nivetha has revealed that she is playing a crime novelist who is both obedient and daring in the movie.  When director Mohanakrishna Indraganti, with whom she has previously done ‘Gentleman’, narrated the story, she immediately fell in love with the character and the script.

Going by the trailer of the neo-noir mystery action drama, Nivetha’s character is in a not-so-straightforward relationship with Sudheer Babu’s super-cop.  As for Nani, he plays a serial killer.  “Working with Nani was great.  He is one of the best buddies in real-life and I share stuff regarding scripts that I get to listen to with him,” Nivetha, whose performance in ‘Brochevarevaruraa’ was critically-acclaimed, said.

She is good friends not only with the ‘Jersey’ actor but also with Aditi Rao Hydari and Sudheer.  “They are sweet people,” she said.
