Nikhil Siddhartha gives update on ‘Karthikeya 2’ release

‘Karthikeya 2’ has been postponed from July 22. The future date is not far away. 

In a tweet on Tuesday, Nikhil Siddhartha made it clear that the mystery thriller will hit the screens in the first week of August. He said sorry to those who are disappointed by the postponement. Some of them have booked tickets by mistake because a few ticketing portals in countries like Australia are showing the movie due to a genuine error. 

Starring Anupam Kher and Anupama Parameswaran in key roles, the film’s second trailer is slated to be released in the last week of this month. 

Also starring Aditya Menon, KS Sridhar, Srinivas Reddy, Satya, Praveen and Harsha Chemudu, ‘Karthikeya 2’ is produced by Abhishek Aggarwal and TG Vishwa Prasad. Karthik Ghattamaneni is its cinematographer, while Kaala Bhairava is its music director.

Nikhil will also be promoting ‘SPY’, his pan-India Dasara release directed by GH Barry. Kollywood actress Iswarya Menon is its heroine. Abhinav Gomatam, Sanya Takur, Jisshu Sengupta, Nitin Mehta, and Ravi Varma have other roles in the thriller.
