Actress Nidhhi Agerwal, who was last seen in Pawan Kalyan’s Hari Hara Veera Mallu, recently found herself at the center of controversy after being spotted traveling in a government vehicle in Bhimavaram during a store launch event. Many cinephiles and Telugu film fans speculated that the privilege was extended to her because of her association with Pawan Kalyan, who is also the Deputy Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh.
Addressing the issue, Nidhhi took to social media to issue a clarification.
“During the event, the local organisers arranged transportation for me. I wish to clearly state that I had no role in choosing or requesting this vehicle. It was solely provided by the event organisers for logistical purposes,” she wrote in a statement.
The actress further added, “The use of the vehicle had nothing to do with any government official,” and stressed that several online reports were “wrongly suggesting” the vehicle was sent to her by the government.
Nidhhi portrayed the role of Panchami in Hari Hara Veera Mallu, directed by Krish Jagarlamudi and Jyothi Krisna. She will next be seen in The Raja Saab alongside Prabhas, Malavika Mohanan, and Riddhi Kumar.
