This weekend will be a treat for movie buffs, as several highly anticipated releases make their way to OTT platforms. Audiences have plenty to look forward to as they settle in for some quality entertainment including three Tamil films. Here's a sneak peek at the latest releases premiering this week.

Tamil Releases:

Raayan on Prime Video - Dhanush's 50th film as actor, directed by himself. This gangster revenge drama became a blockbuster, with music scored by AR Rahman. It is set to stream on August 23 in five languages.

Jama on Prime Video - An intense drama featuring Pari Elavazhagan, Ammu Abhirami, Chetan and others. It debuts on August 22.

Unarvugal Thodarkathai on Aha - Hrishikesh and Sherlin Seth starrer romantic drama. It premieres on Augsut 23.

Telugu Releases:

Kalki 2898 AD on Prime Video & Netflix - The epic sci-fi saga set in a post-apocalyptic world and based on the mythology of Mahabharata. It stars Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone, Kamal Haasan and many others. Directed by Nag Ashwin, it has music by Santhosh Narayanan. It comes to the small screens on August 22 in major Indian languages.

Viraaji on Aha - Varun Sandesh starrer thriller, directed by Adhyanth Harsha. It streams on August 22.

Malayalam Releases:

Grrr on Disney+Hotstar - A survival comedy film starring Kunchacko Boban and Suraj Venjaramoodu. It debuts on August 20.

Swakaryam Sambhava Bahulam on ManoramaMax - August 23.

Munjya on Disney+ Hotstar - August 25.

Tikdam on Jio Cinema - August 23.
