List of new OTT releases: Is Superstar Rajinikanth’s ‘Lal Salaam’ streaming this week?

As the exam season is approaching, theatres are going to lack notable new releases. There is not much to celebrate on the OTT front as well. Despite plenty of new films and series, there is only one direct Tamil along with one Tamil dubbed film. Here is a list of this week’s OTT arrivals:

Lal Salaam (Tamil) on Netflix – Vishnu Vishal and Vikranth starrer sports drama with Superstar Rajinikanth in an extended cameo. It was directed by Aishwarya Rajinikanth with music by AR Rahman. Reports say that the film will stream on March 22 on Netflix but it isn’t official yet.

Marakkuma Nenjam (Tamil) on Prime Video & Tentkotta – Rakshan starrer nostalgic drama about school life in which the grown-ups get a chance to relive their school life. It streams on March 20.

Mix Up (Tamil Dubbed) on Aha – An erotic thriller about two dysfunctional couples and their mix-up featuring Adarsh, Akshara Gowda and others. It lands on March 22.

Abraham Ozler (Malayalam) on Disney+ Hotstar – Jayaram plays the lead role in this crime thriller film which has Superstar Mammootty in an extended cameo. Touted to be the first Malayalam hit of the year, it premieres today.

Fighter (Hindi) on Netflix – An aviation action film revolving around the Air Force officers played by Hrithik Roshan, Deepika Padukone and Anil Kapoor. It debuts on March 22.

Oppenheimer (English) on Jio Cinema – Director Christopher Nolan’s biopic drama about the father of the Atomic Bomb, Robert Oppenheimer, starring Cillian Murphy in the titular role. The film, transcending into the science, politics and history behind World War 2, bagged seven Oscar Awards. It arrives on March 21.

Ondu Sarala Prema Kathe (Kannada) on Prime Video – March 19.

Argylle (English) on Apple TV – A blockbuster spy action comedy flick starring Henry Cavill, Bryan Cranston, Catherine O’Hara, Dua Lipa, Ariana DeBose, John Cena, Samuel L. Jackson and others. It comes on March 19.

Homicide: New York (English) on Netflix – A documentary series with five episodes about five different crimes. Streams on March 20.

3 Body Problem (English) on Netflix – March 21.

Blessed You (Indonesian) on Netflix – March 20.

Freud’s Last Session (English) on Prime Video – March 19.

Physical 100 S2 (Korean) on Netflix – March 19.

Road House (English) on Prime Video – Jake Gyllenhaal’s action entertainer coming on March 21.

Anatomy Of A Fall (French) on Disney+ Hotstar – March 22.

Lootere (Hindi) – Hotstar Series – March 22.

Sundaram Master (Telugu) on Etv Win – March 22.

Bhoothaddam Bhaskar Narayana (Telugu) on Aha – March 22.
