The newly-appointed President of Andhra Pradesh State unit of the BJP, Somu Veerraju, on Thursday called on Megastar Chiranjeevi at the actor’s home in Hyderabad.
The ‘Sye Raa’ and ‘Acharya’ actor reportedly congratulated the new chief of the saffron party on the occasion. He also wished Somu Veerraju the best on taking up the new role.
“I today called on the former Union Minister and Padma Bhushan Chiranjeevi garu at his residence. He congratulated me on becoming the President of BJP. He advised me to take along Jana Sena Party leader Pawan Kalyan garu in building the party base in Andhra Pradesh,” Somu Veerraju tweeted.
The saffron leader, who is an MLC, described Pawan as a friend.
