Netflix’s Navarasa official teaser and release date out!

The date announcement teaser of Netflix anthology Navarasa is out today. The series is produced and presented by ManiRatnam and Jayendra.

Navarasa comes with an ensemble cast. Each film of the anthology represents each one rasa of Indian classical performing art. The cast & crew details and first look of the 9 films were released earlier. Netflix unveiled a promo video that brings together the stars of the series who showcase the 9 different emotions of Navarasas.

The teaser featured the stars Surya, Prakash Raj, Revathy, Siddharth, Prayaga Martin, Prasanna, Aditi Balan, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Parvathy Thiruvothu, Yogi babu, Vijay Sethupathy, Rohini, Bobby Simha, Goli Soda fame Sri Ram, and Delhi Ganesh. The actors expressed the nine rasas anger, compassion, courage, disgust, fear, laughter, love, peace, and wonder.

The promo is in monochrome tone but red is seen as selective colour in the video. The background score in the video is composed, produced, and arranged by A.R. Rahman. The music score was grandeur in the promo. The video is visualized and helmed by Maryan director Bharat Bala.

The release date of the Netflix anthology is August 6. The audio rights of Navarasa is bagged by Think Music India. Stay tuned for more updates on this series.
