After a modest run at the box office, 8 Vasantalu, starring MAD fame actress Anantika Sanilkumar, is now set to reach a wider audience through OTT. Directed by Phanindra Narsetti, the film released in theatres on June 20, 2025, and is now confirmed to stream on Netflix starting July 11, 2025.
Ahead of its OTT release, here are two important updates fans should know. Firstly, 8 Vasantalu will not be restricted to Telugu alone. The film will also be available in Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada, expanding its reach across South India. However, the Hindi version is yet to be confirmed, and viewers waiting for it will need to stay tuned for further announcements.
Secondly, director Phanindra Narsetti recently revealed that the OTT version will come with a 2:1 aspect ratio, offering an enhanced full-screen cinematic experience tailored for home viewing. This marks a significant upgrade from the version seen in theatres.
The film features Hanu Reddy, Ravi Duggirala, and others in pivotal roles, with music composed by Hesham Abdul Wahab. 8 Vasantalu is backed by leading production house Mythri Movie Makers, and its digital release is expected to draw attention from audiences who missed it in cinemas.
With its blend of emotion, aesthetics, and a fresh OTT presentation, 8 Vasantalu is all set for a promising second innings.
