August 10th the grand Independance Day weekend is an attractive prospect for filmmakers and Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan locked the date for his long in the making ‘Viswaroopam 2’. Lyca Productions a few weeks earlier had announced that their Nayanthara-Yogi Babu starrer ‘Kolamavu Kokila’ will also arrive on the same date.
However in a sudden change of plans, ‘Kolamavu Kokila’ has been postponed to the following week and will now hit the screens on August 17th. Industry pundits are welcoming the move as two biggies on the same date will only eat into each others collections at the box office.
