Nayanthara is recently making headlines as she is all set to tie the knot with her long-time lover Vignesh Shivan on June 9 in Chennai. On the professional front, the Lady Superstar, who was last seen in the rom-com 'Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal', is back with another film 'O2'.

The makers launched the official trailer of 'O2' today, which is touted to be a survival thriller. The movie revolves around a mother and a son who is suffering from a breathing disorder. The conflict arises when the bus they travel falls off a cliff and whether they make it out alive forms the rest of the story.

Nayanthara looks perfect as a loving mother who goes the long lengths to save her son. The 2-minute-long trailer is technically terrific and conveys the claustrophobic feel neatly to the audience. It is worth mentioning that 'O2' will be a single location thriller - that is the film is almost entirely set inside a bus met with an accident.

Debutant GS Viknesh, a former assistant to Venkat Prabhu, has directed 'O2'. With music by Vishal Chandrasekar, Thamizh Azhagan has handled the cinematography and Selva RK has done the editing. Produced by Dream Warrior Pictures, 'O2' is all set to release directly on Disney Plus Hotstar on June 17.
