The starts with the release of Nayanthara’s spine-tingling teaser of the upcoming movie Connect and we can’t complain. The 2.22 minutes trailer is horrifying, emotional and has showcased the versatility of the actors in the film.
The trailer starts with a depiction of a happy nuclear family with Nayanthara, Vinay their young teenage daughter and their father Sathya Raj. Things take a u-turn after the lockdown begins, as Nayanthara observes a sudden change in her daughter’s behaviour.
Nayanthara’s character Susan is seen trying to figure out the reason behind the constant disturbance that happens during her work calls, that later leads to a discovery of a paranormal activity which is linked to her daughter. Susan tries to save her daughter with the help of her father and her priest who recommends an immediate exorcism. What happens next is the story of connect.
The much-awaited project, which is helmed by Ashwin Saravanan, is slated to be released on December 22, this year. Interestingly, Connect is set to emerge as the first-ever Tamil film to hit the theatres without an interval block.
