Amidst the controversy surrounding Nayanthara, the actress is unbaffled. She has come up with the announcement of a new project. Marking her birthday today, the actress shared the title of her next film as Rakkayie. The team also launched a teaser to mark this special occasion.

The film looks like a bold action drama with highly intense elements that would keep the audience hooked. Nayanthara is being presented in a bold role and she would be required to perform some breath-taking action sequences too.

The actress will be teaming up with director Senthil Nallasamy for the film. The team is kicked about the output and Nayan is sure to take over the box office altogether to next level. The film is produced by Vedikkaranpatti S. Sakthivel and Aditya Pittie under the banners of Drumsticks Productions and MovieVerse Studios.

The film has a strong technical team. Gowtham Rajendran is working as the cinematographer while Praveen Antony is the editor. Infamous music composer Govind Vasantha is also a part of the film.
