Actor Navdeep had been a popular actor in Telugu, and he had also been a part of several notable movies in Tamil, like the hit multistarrer Arindhum Ariyamalum directed by Vishnuvardhan and costarring Arya and Prakashraj, and the Thala Ajith starrer Aegan, where he played Ajith's brother.

In recent times, the actor had been very choosy regarding his movies, and had been a part of the Amazon web series Gangstars, and also was a contestant in the season 1 of Telugu version of Bigg Boss. He was last seen in Tamil in Keerthy Suresh's Idhu Enna Mayam directed by AL Vijay.

The actor is now back to Tamil after 4 years, as he will be seen playing a pivotal role in Sunny Leone starrer Veeramadevi directed by VC Vadivudayaan, and also has been reportedly roped in to play a vital role in the upcoming untitled movie of Jiiva directed by Rekka fame Rathina Shiva.
