Nani’s sister Deepthi Ghanta debuts with ‘Meet Cute’

‘Meet Cute’ is the title of Deepthi Ghanta’s directorial debut. She is the sister of Natural Star Nani, who is producing the seemingly experimental film along with Prashanthi Tipirneni.

Sharing the news on Monday, the ‘Tuck Jagadish’ actor wrote that the project is more than special to him. Calling it a new journey, the ‘Shyam Singha Roy’ actor also shared a pic from the muhurtham shot. Satyaraj, the ‘Baahubali’ and ‘Jersey’ actor, has got a role in the movie.

The film will be a female-centric one. Touted to be a multi-starrer, the untitled movie has Vijay Bulganin composing the music. Vasanth Kumar is its director of photography. Avinash Kolla, the much sought-after production designer, is also on board. 

For now, the names of the lead cast has been withheld. In the past, Nani has teamed up with the likes of Kajal Aggarwal for his products. 

Nani and his team must be looking at delivering a hit with the debut director. Wall Poster Cinema’s tryst with debutants (Prashanth Varma-directed ‘AWE’ and Sailesh Kolanu-directed ‘HIT’ clicked at the box office) has boded well so far.
