Naga Chaitanya to make OTT debut with young director

Naga Chaitanya is waiting for the theatrical release of ‘Love Story’, which is a Sekhar Kammula directorial. As things stand, it will hit the screens in August if everything goes well.

Meanwhile, the ‘Majili’ actor is in the news for an interesting reason. Producer Sharrath Marar, who has produced movies with Pawan Kalyan in recent years, has reportedly firmed up a deal with Chay for an OTT project. The ‘Sailaja Reddy Alludu’ actor will be making his OTT debut with a sensitive subject.

Sharrath Marar’s team recently pitched a few ideas to Chay and he liked one of them. Now that he has given his nod, the producer is searching for a director. Chay’s OTT debut, when it happens, will be a potential turning point for Telugu OTT. A happening hero debuting on the OTT space will be seen as a major development. For Sharrath Marar, producing content for digital media is not new.

On the feature film front, the Akkineni lad is also doing Vikram K Kumar’s ‘Thank You’, which completed a schedule in Italy in April. In his Hindi-language debut ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’, Chay is sharing screen space with Aamir Khan. The film was shot in Kashmir recently.
