Naga Chaitanya’s ‘Thank You’ picks its release date

After months of suspense, Naga Chaitanya’s ‘Thank You’ has firmed up its release date. The Vikram K Kumar directorial has been confirmed for a July 8th release.

Produced by the Dil Raju-Shirish duo and written by BVS Ravi, the film sees the coming together of Chay, Raashi Khanna (as the main heroine) and Malavika Nair (of ‘Yevade Subrahmanyam’ fame).

A coming-of-age rom-com, the film has a hockey backdrop. S Thaman has composed melodies, while ace lensman PC Sreeram is handling one of the most important projects of his filmography in recent times. Co-produced by Harshith Reddy, ‘Thank You’ has editing by the National Award-winning Navin Nooli.

The ‘Love Story’ actor has of late started shooting for the Amazon Prime Video original ‘Dhootha’, which is also directed by Vikram Kumar. It is a horror web series where Parvathy Thiruvothu, Prachi Desai, Priya Bhavani Shankar and Tharun Bhascker have key roles. The Telugu-Tamil web series will be released later this year. The ‘Bangarraju’ actor is also doing a film directed by Kollywood filmmaker Venkat Prabhu, a Telugu-Tamil bilingual.
