“I get goosebumps when I say Jyothika’s name ” – ‘Naachiyaar’ Ivana interview

Those who have seen Bala’s ‘Naachiyaar’ apart from Jyothika and GVPs performances are mighty impressed by the young leading lady Ivana who played the bubbly lower middle class girl Arasi in the film who is pivotal character in the movie.   While the internet is abuzz as to who Ivana is we caught up with her for an exclusive and here are the excerpts and you can catch the whole interview on the video.

Ivana is a twelfth standard student in Kerala and she had no intention of acting until Bala offered her Arasi in ‘Nachiyaar’ and she obviously couldnt say no.  The young girl gets animated when speaking about her illustrious costar Jyothika with whom she shared screenspace and she says she gets goosebumps even when she utters her name.  Ivana reveals that she had multiple thoughts when doing scenes with Jo and she also felt nervous about sharing frames with the legend but the senior actress put her at ease and gave her tips to handle her scenes. 

Ivana’s favorite scene in the film is when she and GVP playing Kaathu non verbally communicate in the court when all the others are in serious discussion.   She has sportively enacted some scenes from the film, imitated the internet sensation Priya Prakash Varrier, revealed scenes that were cut in ‘Naachiyaar’ and more exciting information about working with Bala and GVP in the video interview.
