Director Mysskin had last directed the thriller Thupparivalan starring Vishal, Prasanna and Vinay, and had been shooting his next movie Psycho, which stars Udhayanidhi Stalin, Aditi Rao Hydari, Nithya Menen and director Ram in lead roles.

Psycho is produced by Double Meaning production and has music by Isaignani Ilaiyaraja. The movie, as said by Mysskin is his own version of the popular Buddhist tale of Angulimala and how he transformed from a murderer to a follower of Buddha for lifetime.

It has been announced that the teaser of Psycho will be released in 5 days, and by Friday fans can expect a glimpse of what the movie is about. Udhayanidhi is said to be playing a visually challenged person, and Aditi Rao Hydari plays a singer, and the movie will have a debutant villain.
