'My Dear Bootham' is the title of Prabhudeva's next. In the film's trailer released today, we see the titular character as a Genie out to help a kid.
Directed by N Raghavan of Kollywood, the film is hitting the screens on July 15. It's instructive that the trailer doesn't give a hint about the nature of the conflict in the story. For the most part, the plot is preoccupied with entertaining scenes that happen between the heroic apparition and the puzzled kid.
Graphical visuals, slapstick comedy, dance and humour are the hallmarks of the trailer. What purpose actually drives the story is to be seen on the big screen. This one feels like Prabhudeva is in his elements for the first time in a long time!
The film's digital rights are with the Zee network.
Starring Ramya Nambeesan as the mother to the child protagonist, the fantasy comedy is produced by Abhishek Films' Ramesh P Pillai. With music and cinematography by D Imman and UK Senthil Kumar, respectively, 'My Dear Bootham' also Samyuktha, Imman Annaachi, Suresh Menon, Lollu Sabha Swaminathan, Ashwanth, Param Guhanesh, Saathvik, Sakthi and Kaesitha.
