Even as various theories doing rounds about Tabu deciding not to be part of A R Murugadoss' Bollywood venture 'Akira', her spokesperson has cleared the air on what exactly happened.
"In the first place, Tabu did not opt out of the movie, as she did not sign it. Talks were on (between Tabu and Murugadoss), but she could not allot the dates required for the project ('Akira')," the spokesperson said.
"Tabu is currently shooting for 'Drishyam' remake and she did not want to pave way for date-clash." Sonakshi Sinha plays the lead role in 'Akira', which is said to be a remake of Tamil hit 'Mounaguru'.
