‘Bangarraju’ is one of the most satisfying comedies in recent times. The Telugu-language film proved that certain sensibilities can never go out of fashion if they are galvanized in a well-rounded manner. Strengthened by Nagarjuna and Naga Chaitanya, the film was a Sankranthi hit this year.
The Kalyan Krishna Kurasala directorial will premiere on ZEE5 from February 18. The fascinating fantasy-comedy is poised to woo the patrons out there with vigour, or as Nagarjuna’s Bangarraju would have it, with a ‘Vaasivadi Thassadiyya’ vibe.
The film’s music by Anup Rubens is a special attraction and if you are a sucker for playful romance, watch out for the scenes between the Nag-Ramya Krishna duo on the one hand and the Naga Chaitanya-Krithi Shetty duo on the other hand. The climax received applause for combining impressive elements.
Starring also Vennela Kishore and Brahmaji, the film’s action sequences (by the Ram-Lakshman duo) are a highlight. The choreography department lives up to the expectations. J Yuvaraj’s cinematography is adept. The VFX department, led by Junaid, shows craft.
Catch ‘Bangarraju’ this Friday and have fun with your family!
