Modi jokes about Akshay’s wife, she reacts

Narendra Modi’s joke about Akshay Kumar’s wife has gone viral on the Internet.  Speaking to the Bollywood actor, the Prime Minister has commented in a lighter vein that Twinkle Khanna takes out all her anger on Modi and hence Akshay must be a happy husband.

For a PM to speak about a former actress and wife of a superstar is nothing but sheer entertainment.  Reacting to Modi’s jibe, here is what Twinkle said: “I have a rather positive way of looking at this.  Not only is the Prime Minister aware that I exist but he actually reads my work.”

Notice that Twinkle has not shown any fawning admiration for Modi for the remarks.  She remains a critic of the Modi regime. This is the case so far.  You never know what might happen tomorrow!
