‘Modern Love Hyderabad’ Trailer: Dialogue-centric, emotional anthology

‘Modern Love Hyderabad’, the latest Amazon Prime original in the town, will start streaming from July 8. The trailer of the anthology is out.

“Humans started loving even before language was born,” says a female character in the trailer, hinting that she has an ennobling idea of love. From pre-marital intimacy to dating issues, from parental love to an orphan’s longing, a poor woman’s emotional turmoil to a love affair between two creative people, the anthology features six stories, all of which are set in Hyderabad. 

“The word ‘soulmates’ has a different meaning altogether,” a male character expounds. 

The visuals are prominently impressive, while the dialogues seem to be the bona fide strength of the anthology, which is based on a New York Times column. The music is lilting.
