Actor Teja Sajja’s latest outing Mirai has turned out to be a massive surprise at the box office, delivering exceptional numbers in its opening weekend. The film, directed by Karthik Ghattamaneni, has struck gold both in India and overseas, setting new benchmarks for a medium-budget Telugu film.

In the domestic market, Mirai collected a strong ?45 crore nett over the first three days. Breaking it down, the film earned ?13 Cr on Day 1, ?15 Cr on Day 2, and ?17 Cr on Day 3, showing remarkable growth across the weekend.

Overseas, particularly in North America, the movie grossed an impressive $1.7 million in just three days — a record feat for a Teja Sajja starrer.
