Recently, it was reported that the second film of Anand Deverakonda, the younger brother of Vijay Deverakonda, has been acquired by a prominent OTT platform for a direct OTT release. Titled ‘Middle Class Melodies’, it will be streaming from November 20. Starring ‘Choosi Choodangane’ actress Varsha Bollama as the female lead, the film has generated a lot of buzz in business circles.
We learn that the makers of the film sold their product to the streaming platform because they got a really lucrative and highly satisfactory deal. Made on a controlled budget, the film earned Rs 4.5 Cr by way of selling its release rights to the streaming platform.
Considering that it’s just Anand’s second film, the deal is quite impressive. The OTT platform was totally satisfied with the product, which is why they shelled out the big figure after watching the movie.
Going by the deal, it’s clear that ‘Middle Class Melodies’ is rich in terms of content. We learn that it’s a clean entertainer that the family audience can enjoy completely.
Directed by debutant Vinod Anantoju, the film has music by Sweekar Agasi and cinematography by Sunny Korapati. It’s produced by Bhavya Creations.
