Metro Sirish’s next is a comedy!

Actor Sirish had debuted with the crime thriller Metro, and had later starred in the action suspense entertainer Raja Ranguski. Currently the actor is working on his next movie which has been named as Pistha, and the first look of the movie has been released.

The makers of the movie have also made the clarification that this movie does not have any connection with the Karthik starrer of the same name which was released in 1997 and was directed by KS Ravikumar. From the first look of the movie, it looks like a kidnap comedy with a team kidnapping the bride.

Pistha is music director Dharan kumar’s 25th movie and alongside Metro Sirish also stars Sathish, Yogi Babu and veteran comedy legend Senthil who’s returning after last year’s Thanaa Serndha Koottam, besides Saithan fame Arundhati Nair as the female lead. Directed by Ramesh Bharathi, the movie also stars Mridula Murali. Pistha is planning an August release.
