Thalapathy Vijay's most awaited biggie 'Master' is planned to release worldwide on 13th January 2021 as a grand Pongal 2021 treat for fans. The theater business which is the worst-hit due to the coronavirus pandemic is also banking on this thriller to bail them out. The film produced by XB Film Creators and Seven Screen Studios has music by Anirudh and has the principal cast of Vijay, Vijay Sethupathi, Malavika Mohanan, Shantanu Bhagyaraj, Arjun Doss, and Andrea Jeremiah.

'Master' is making a habit of trending top on social media pan India and only a few days ago Twitter confirmed that Thalapathy Vijay's selfie posted after completing shooting in Neyveli was the most retweeted in the year 2020.

Now 'Master' has created another distinction of being the most tweeted movie hashtag in India followed by Pawan Kalyan's 'Vakeel Saab'. Thala Ajith's 'Valimai', Suriya's 'Soorarai Pottru' and Superstar Rajinikanth's 'Darbar' are the other Tamil movies that are in third, fifth and tenth places in the year 2020.
